Before Washing:
Before placing your embelished garments in the washing machine, turn it inside out. This simple step helps protect the printed design from direct friction with other garments and the washing machine drum, which can cause premature wear and tear.
Washing Temperature:
Always use cold water to wash your embelished garments. Hot water can cause the design to fade or become damaged over time. Cold water is gentle on both the fabric and the embelishment, helping to preserve the vibrant colors and intricate details of your design.
Washing Machine Setting:
Set your washing machine to the gentle or delicate cycle. This cycle reduces the agitation and friction that can damage the design. It also helps prevent the fabric from stretching or becoming misshapen, keeping your garments looking as good as new.
Spin Cycle:
Opt for a low spin speed to further protect the design. High spin speeds can create excessive movement and force within the washing machine, which can cause the Scree Print and DTF Print to crack or peel. A low spin speed ensures a gentle wash while still effectively cleaning your t-shirt.
Color Care:
To avoid color bleeding and ensure that your garmnet remains pristine, wash it with similar colors. Mixing dark and light colors can lead to dye transfer, which can affect the appearance of your garment and embelishment. Keeping similar colors together helps maintain the original look of your garments.
Chemical Use:
Do not use bleach or any harsh chemicals when washing your embelished garment. These substances can damage the design and weaken the fabric fibers. Instead, use a mild detergent that is free from bleach and other harsh additives.
Drying Method:
Air drying is the best method for drying your embelished garments. Hang it up to dry naturally rather than using a tumble dryer. If you must use a dryer, set it to low heat. High heat can cause the Screen Print or DTF Print to crack, peel, or become distorted. Air drying not only protects the design but also helps maintain the shape and fit of your t-shirt.
Ironing Instructions:
Avoid ironing directly over the design. If your garment requires ironing, turn it inside out or place a thin cloth over the design before ironing. This prevents direct heat from the iron from damaging the design. Use a low to medium heat setting to avoid any potential harm to the fabric, print and embroidery.
1. Storage: Store your embelished garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the colors to fade over time.
2. Avoid Fabric Softeners: Fabric softeners can leave a residue that affects the quality and appearance of the design. It’s best to avoid using them on your embelished garments.
3. Spot Cleaning: For small stains or spills, consider spot cleaning instead of a full wash. Use a mild detergent and a soft cloth to gently clean the affected area.
4. Regular Inspections: Periodically check your garmenbts for any signs of wear or damage to design. Early detection allows you to take corrective measures and prolong the life of your garment.
